Description

American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist for an outpatient neurosurgery/neurology clinic, requiring 2+ years of experience and C-arm proficiency.

Details

  • Outoffice outpatient neurosurgery and neurology clinic setting with 1 x-ray room and 1 injection room
  • Average of 60 imaging patients per day, approximately 30 of which are injections
  • Patient population includes adults and pediatrics, primarily spine and head imaging such as scoliosis series, shunt series, and cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine studies
  • Outpatient imaging and injection procedures performed with no sedation
  • Uses Epic EMR and Intellaspace PACS
  • Shimadzu x-ray and GE OEC C-arm equipment
  • 8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, alternating between 8:00 AM-4:30 PM and 8:30 AM-5:00 PM
  • No weekend rotation, on-call, or holiday coverage required
  • Rare floating opportunities to other CSA campuses beginning when the office relocates to Rea Farms in September

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in radiology, with recent experience in spine/head imaging and injection procedures
  • ARRT and BLS certification required
  • License required if applicable
  • C-arm experience required
  • Epic EMR experience required
  • Comfortable performing general office/admin tasks such as making CDs
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment
  • Last 4 digits of SSN and full DOB required for consideration
  • Minimum 1 professional reference dated within the last year from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge RN

Additional Information

  • First-time travelers will be considered for this role
  • Supported by a care team including RN, CNA, front desk staff, and typically 3 imaging technologists
  • Clinic supports 10-12 providers at a time, with 1 provider in the injection suite
  • Approximately 1 week of facility and unit orientation provided
  • Black scrub color required
  • Free employee parking available on campus
  • Candidates must be able to commit to working 5 days per week with no exceptions
  • RTO requests must be approved through the manager
  • Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be considered for this position
  • Returning employees must be separated from any AHSE facility for at least 1 year following a permanent position
