Job Summary:
Xray Technologist position located in Presque Isle, Maine. This role involves performing general radiologic imaging procedures in a busy healthcare setting, supporting outpatient, inpatient, emergency department, ICU, operating room, and other patient care areas. The position is suitable for candidates with a minimum of one year of experience, though less experienced candidates may be considered with manager approval.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: 6-week schedules with variable shift times, including days or evenings depending on department needs.
  • Required Qualifications: ARRT (R) certification, Maine state licensure, BLS certification, experience with OR/C-arm procedures, fluoroscopy experience preferred but not mandatory if overall strong, and support within the department including lead tech and radiologist coverage.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Additional experience with patient types such as pediatrics, fluoro procedures, and general radiology equipment.
  • Float: Float rotation may be required to fixed locations other than OR or portable units for inpatient scans.
  • Additional Information: Orientation period of 1-1.5 weeks based on experience and comfort level. No call required; holiday work done in rotation with other techs. Parking available at no cost.
