Job Summary:
Radiologic Technologist (X-ray Technologist) in a healthcare setting. This position involves performing radiologic examinations with a focus on quality and patient safety. The role requires adherence to clinical protocols and effective communication with patients and healthcare team members.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: 8-hour shifts, minimum of 32 hours per week, with scheduled days including Friday, Monday, Saturday, Sunday, Thursday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Day shifts when scheduled Monday through Friday; second shifts when scheduled Saturday and Sunday.
  • Required Qualifications: Graduate of an education program accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) required. Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology from an accredited college or appropriate military training. Minimum of 2 years of experience in an acute care setting required. Currently registered as R.T.(R) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or registry-eligible with R.T.(R) (ARRT) within 6 months of hire required. Current licensure as a Radiologic Technologist in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts required. BLS certification required.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Strong communication and customer service skills. Must be proficient in computer systems including PACS and HIS/RIS. Ability to read, write, and communicate in English. Must be capable of maintaining confidential information.
