Opportunity:
Interventional Rad Tech
Job Details:
• Rapid response assignment for 6 weeks at 48 hours per week
• Day shift from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• On-call required 1 night per week and 1 rotating weekend per month with possible holiday coverage
• Minimum 6 months of current acute care hospital IR Tech experience required
• Neuro interventional experience required (Strokes, Aneurysms, SAH)
• Required certifications: ARRT (R) and BLS must be provided in submission packet
• Work in a unit with 5 Interventional Radiology suites
• Patient ratio of 2 IR Techs and 1 IR RN
• Operate equipment including 4 Siemens Bi-planes and 1 Siemens Single plane
• Use EMR systems Meditech and GE Centricity PACS
• Perform procedures including Comprehensive Stroke Center cases (Strokes, Aneurysms, SAH, DVST) and Level 1 Trauma Center procedures (GIB, EMBOs, Gastronomy Tubes, Nephrostomy)
• Expert knowledge of Vascular Interventional Radiology procedures with minimal guidance preferred
• Must be self-motivated and comfortable working in a fast-paced interventional lab and team environment

This facility operates a comprehensive Interventional Radiology department with 5 fully equipped suites, functioning as both a Comprehensive Stroke Center and a Level 1 Trauma Center. The department utilizes advanced imaging technology and supports a wide range of complex interventional procedures. The unit fosters a collaborative, fast-paced environment with a strong emphasis on teamwork and self-motivated clinical professionals.
