Nuclear Medical Technician
Job Details:
• Work 36 guaranteed hours per week
• No scheduled weekend hours
• Call requirements as needed
• Float requirements as needed
• Must have 1+ years of experience
• Required certifications: BLS and Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine School, NMTCB
• Must have certification/licensure required to work as a Nuclear Med Tech in WV
• Work with GE NM360 equipment
• Use Meditech EHR system
• Must be able to perform cardiac stress testing, venipuncture, and general nuclear medicine studies
• Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and ability to work with minimal supervision
• Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action
• Serve patients of all ages
• Dress code requires black scrubs (no t-shirts, sweatshirts, or hoodies)
• Must maintain professional demeanor
• Orientation is biweekly on Wednesdays
Facility:
This healthcare facility provides care to 13,000 patients annually and treats more than 50,000 patients in its emergency room. The hospital is accredited by the Joint Commission and offers a wide range of surgical services including da Vinci Robotic Surgery, spine, orthopedic, vascular, thoracic, interventional pain management, interventional cardiology, gynecological, general, oral, urological, eye, and trauma/emergency services. The facility operates as a Level 3 trauma center with 300 beds and offers instructional programs for nursing students as well as numerous allied health student extern programs.
