This is a travel assignment focusing on both interventional radiology (IR) and the catheterization (cath) lab within a dynamic healthcare environment. Key Responsibilities of the Interventional Radiologic Technologist- Perform interventional procedures in a cath lab environment
- Collaborate with a scrub RT, circulating RN, and recording RT/RN per procedure
- Operate GE cath lab equipment and utilize Merge documentation system
- Adhere to patient experience standards and hospital-specific protocols
- Participate in an on-call schedule and potentially float to EP or IR as needed
Requirements of the Interventional Radiologic Technologist- Current AART or RCIS certification with cath lab experience
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a cath lab environment
- Proficiency in performing advanced interventions such as left heart angiograms and pacemaker implants
- Ceil blue scrubs required as a dress code
