Description
American Traveler is hiring an MRI Supervisor to lead multi-campus MRI operations, requiring 8 years of experience, CA RN license, and ARRT/ARMRIT certification.
Details
- Full-time leadership role, Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
- Oversees day-to-day operations of a multi-site MRI service spanning five MRI scanners across four campuses and approximately 30 FTEs
- MRI services operate from 5:30 AM through midnight, requiring oversight of multiple shifts and campus-specific workflows
- Floating across multiple CPMC campuses required, with daily shuttle transportation available
- Provides clinical MRI scanning coverage during periods of low staffing, call-offs, or vacations
- Utilizes GE HealthCare MRI platforms across multiple software versions
- Supports a broad range of advanced imaging including neuro, cardiac, body, musculoskeletal, breast, and interventional MRI procedures
Requirements
- Active CA RN license required
- Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC)
- ARMRIT or ARRT (R) certification required
- ARRT MR certification required
- Minimum 8 years of MRI experience required
- Supervisor/charge experience required
- Venipuncture skills required
- Experience supporting a broad spectrum of routine and advanced MRI services in a high-volume environment
Additional Information
- Provides operational leadership across a multi-campus MRI program while maintaining clinical scanning capability as needed
- Responsible for staffing coordination, schedule management, and operational planning
- Manages patient flow and optimizes scanner utilization across sites
- Oversees MRI safety and regulatory compliance
- Coaches, onboards, and manages performance of staff
- Collaborates with radiologists, nursing, anesthesia, and operational leadership
- Leads workflow improvement initiatives and monitors quality metrics and patient experience
- Local candidates accepted at local rate within a 50-mile radius
- Returning employees must have a one-year separation before returning as a traveler
- Maximum RTO of 7 days per contract, with only one holiday request approved per contract
- Holiday coverage required for New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day
