Description

American Traveler is hiring a Radiologic Technologist for a Diagnostic Imaging position requiring MA licensure and flexibility for rotating shifts.

Details

  • Diagnostic Radiology unit performing imaging for diagnosis and treatment of medical disorders
  • Work includes OR, ER, inpatient, and outpatient populations
  • 13-week assignment on a 10-hour rotating shift schedule, 40 hours per week
  • Consistent 4-week rotating schedule alternating between day and overnight shifts, including weekends
  • May float to an affiliated hospital as needed
  • Requires flexibility to meet department staffing needs including off-sites, holidays, and on-call rotation

Requirements

  • Current MA license required, if applicable
  • Required certifications for Radiologic Technologist role
  • Must monitor and ensure essential patient care and safety
  • Must be able to produce diagnostic images across varied patient populations and care settings

Additional Information

  • Responsibilities include producing diagnostic images and supporting patient care and safety across OR, ER, inpatient, and outpatient areas
  • Must complete Tele/ECG and Medication competency testing (Pass/Fail) if assigned to certain campuses
  • Required vaccinations include COVID-19 (with booster) and Flu, with medical exemptions allowed
  • Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates are not typically accepted but may be considered case-by-case for hard-to-fill roles
  • Previous employees of this health system must have a 6-month break before returning to any facility within the system
  • First-time travelers may be considered
