Generally serve a support role in starting and stopping the treatment beam. Familiarity with EMR and PACS systems required. Experience with EPIC and Aria software is preferred. Department specific equipment includes Varian technology. A Clienttion Therapist lead will be present on each shift. No Registered Radiology Assistants are utilized in this role. Clienttion Physicians are available on-site during operations. The role does not require starting IVs. Weekend work is infrequent, and there are no holiday, call, or standby requirements.
