Radiation Therapist - Philadelphia, PA

Local Pay: $60.38/hour

Travel Package:

Travel Rate (based on 40 hours): Hourly $23.60, Stipend (Lodging $1,092.00 + M&I $644.00) = $1,736.00,

Total Comp :$2,680.00

Travel Eligibility: Candidates must live at least 50+ miles from the facility to qualify for Travel Pay.

Shift Details:
  • 8:00am-4:30pm
  • 40 hrs / week
Radiation Therapist Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Provide radiation therapy treatments to patients according to prescribed treatment plans.
  • Operate and monitor radiation therapy equipment safely and effectively.
  • Position and immobilize patients accurately to ensure proper treatment delivery.
  • Review treatment plans and verify patient information before each treatment.
  • Monitor patients during treatment and respond appropriately to any concerns or changes.
  • Maintain accurate and timely patient treatment records and documentation.
  • Follow radiation safety procedures and established clinical protocols.
  • Perform routine equipment checks and report any equipment issues or malfunctions.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, dosimetrists, physicists, and other healthcare team members.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Minimum of one (1) year related work experience within the last 3 years
  • Active State License.
  • Must have ARRT and CA RTT license
  • BLS/BCLS
  • Additional certifications may be required.
  • Copy of current, completed Primary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.
  • Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents (e.g., . BLS, N95 fit test, immunization records, TB test, or other client-specific requirements ) .
