Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Monday–Friday, 5x8-hour shifts | No weekend, holiday, or call requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily external beam radiation treatments including IMRT and SBRT
- Provide patient education surrounding the course of treatment
- Operate and maintain Varian TrueBeam equipment in an outpatient oncology setting
- Utilize Aria Record and Verify system to document and manage treatment delivery
- Maintain accurate patient records; occasional use of Epic as needed
- Occasional float to other locations within the health system on a rare basis
Required Qualifications
- Active Virginia Radiation Therapy license required at time of submittal
- ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy required
- BLS certification required
- Minimum of 2 years of radiation therapy experience
- Experience with Varian TrueBeam equipment
- Experience treating adult patient populations
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Familiarity with Aria Record and Verify system
- Exposure to Epic EMR
- Experience in an outpatient radiation oncology clinic setting
