Contract | 13 Weeks | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift | Monday–Friday, 5x8-hour shifts with a 0700–0800 start time
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and align patients using various imaging techniques to deliver radiation therapy treatments as prescribed
- Assess patient status during direct patient interaction and make appropriate referrals to members of the healthcare team
- Prepare for treatment delivery, including chart and film checks, room set-up, calculations, electronic medical record (MOSAIQ) review, and treatment calendar programming
- Perform patient set-up and CT scans for radiation therapy treatment planning purposes as needed
- Collaborate with fellow radiation therapists and team members to complete additional tasks as needed
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of Radiation Oncology experience
- Active ARRT (Radiation Therapy) certification required
- Active California Radiation Therapy Technologist (CA RTT) license required
- Current BLS certification required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Varian TrueBeam linear accelerator
- Experience with MOSAIQ electronic medical record system
