Key Responsibilities
Administer radiation therapy treatments to patients as prescribed by a radiation oncologist
Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment in accordance with safety and regulatory standards
Document patient treatment records accurately and maintain thorough clinical documentation
Monitor patients during treatment and report any changes in condition to the supervising physician
Collaborate with the oncology care team to ensure continuity and quality of patient care
Required Qualifications
Current ARRT (R)(T) certification in Radiation Therapy required
Active or eligible New York State licensure as a Radiation Therapist
Graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy program
Current BLS/CPR certification
Preferred Experience / Skills
Prior experience in a clinical radiation oncology setting
Familiarity with treatment planning systems and electronic medical records
Strong communication and patient care skills in a multidisciplinary environment
