Key Responsibilities

• Administer radiation therapy treatments across a range of modalities including 3D, SRS, SBRT, and IMRT
• Operate and support treatment on linear accelerator units and a Big Bore CT simulator
• Contribute to an active department averaging approximately 35 patients daily on treatment and approximately 10 CT simulations per week
• Collaborate with Radiation Oncology physicians to deliver accurate, safe patient care across all adult diagnoses
• Float to like units within scope of practice as needed based on facility needs, following brief unit orientation

Required Qualifications

• ARRT (T) - Radiation Therapy certification required
• BLS certification required
• New Mexico state license required (pending NM or Compact license accepted; must be obtained prior to start)
• Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible - local candidates will not be accepted
• Previous staff must wait a minimum of 1 year before returning in a travel capacity

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with treatment planning and delivery using 21iX and TomoTherapy platforms
• Familiarity with high-volume radiation oncology environments
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
