Position: Radiation Therapist
Schedule: 5x8-Hour Day Shift
Shift Options: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM or 12:00 PM–8:00 PM
Travel Experience: Required
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Radiation Therapist to join our team in Santa Cruz, CA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely and accurately delivering routine and specialized radiation treatments according to physician-developed treatment plans.
The Radiation Therapist will work independently while demonstrating sound clinical judgment, strong technical skills, and excellent patient communication. This role requires a compassionate professional who can provide safe, precise, and timely patient care in a fast-paced radiation oncology environment.

Clinical Skills & Treatment Experience
Experience with:
- External Beam Radiation Therapy
- IMRT
- Stereotactic Radiosurgery (SRS)
- Respiratory Gating
- Prostate Cancer with Seeds/Fiducials
- Benign Brain Tumors
- Heterotopic Bone
- Prophylactic Treatments
Schedule
- 5x8-Hour Day Shift
- 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM
- Start time may vary between 6:00 AM and 12:00 PM
- Candidates must be flexible with start times
Patient Care Responsibilities
- Perform routine and specialized radiation treatments according to physician treatment plans
- Ensure accurate positioning and safe delivery of radiation therapy
- Assess and monitor patients throughout treatment
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers
- Exercise independent clinical judgment
- Maintain patient privacy and safety
- Follow all applicable local, state, and federal regulations and facility policies
- Assist with department procedures and staff orientation as needed
