Job Summary:
Radiation Therapist position in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. This role involves administering radiation treatments, performing simulations, dosimetry functions, and preparing treatment blocks. The Radiation Therapist will work independently and proactively to ensure patient care is delivered in accordance with departmental and hospital policies under the supervision of a Radiation Oncologist. The position requires attention to safety protocols, collaboration with healthcare team members, and the ability to function effectively in a high-pressure environment.
Job Details:
- Location: Pittsfield, Massachusetts
- Schedule: Days shifts, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of Radiation Therapy experience, Massachusetts Radiology license (must be uploaded with profile), active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, active registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Preferred Qualifications: Previous travel experience.
- Additional Information:
- Must have own vehicle for the assignment.
- All requests for time off during the assignment must be included in the profile at submission; requests after offer or during interview may be rescinded.
- All scheduling requests must be made at the time of submission.
- Travelers must have voicemail set up; without voicemail, candidate may be redirected.
- No more than five days of request for time off will be accepted.
- The organization maintains a policy of not considering any traveler who resides within 50 miles of the facility.
- Orientation will be 8 hours (non-billable).
- Holiday and overtime multipliers are 1.25x.
