The start time varies between 6:30 AM and 8:30 AM based on patient volume. This is a first-time traveler position. There are 2 treatment rooms available. Weekend requirements are only on weekends from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Shifts are rotated among staff. California state license is preferred, however, a pending license is accepted. No more than 7 days of requested time off is allowed. The facility is an acute care facility. Scrub color is either scrubs or business casual. Daily caseload includes approximately 20 patients per machine. Special procedures include Stereotactic Radiosurgery (SRS) and Stereotactic Body Radiotherapy (SBRT). The facility provides interdisciplinary support. Must be willing to float between nearby facilities as required. Refusal to float may result in termination of the assignment. Providers may receive communication devices needed to perform duties at no cost. If devices are not provided, reimbursement is available for work-related phone use. All time spent on required modules is considered non-billable. Completion of modules occurs before the start of the assignment and during orientation. Response to specific queries about previous work experience is required. Two references covering 1 year within the last 3 years are necessary before starting.
