Job Summary:
Hawaii-based Radiation Therapist position in an organizational healthcare center specializing in oncology services. The role involves independently performing radiation therapy treatments, simulations, treatment planning, and fabrication of specialized treatment aids in accordance with physician prescriptions. This position requires proficiency with Varian TrueBeam linear accelerators and ARIA electronic medical records and includes treating 25-30 patients per day.
Job Details:
- Location: 1190 Waianuenue Avenue, Hilo, Hawaii, 96720
- Schedule: Rotating shifts, with work on weekends and holidays. Shift hours are 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Current Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license as a Radiation Therapist, ARRT in Radiation Therapy (T), BLS certification, and a minimum of 2 years of progressive imaging technologist/specialist experience demonstrating thorough knowledge of imaging procedures and techniques.
- Preferred Qualifications: Proficiency with Varian TrueBeam linear accelerators and ARIA EMR system. Ability to treat 25-30 patients per day.
- Additional Information: Candidates must have a Hawaii license by the start of the assignment and be able to arrive the Thursday prior to the start date for the employee health appointment. Only travelers with active Hawaii licensure at the time of assignment acceptance will be considered.
