The schedule consists of five 8-hour shifts from Monday to Friday. The typical hourly shifts are from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM or 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM. There is no weekend requirement or on-call duty for this position. Candidates must have a minimum of two years of experience in radiation therapy. First-time travelers are accepted provided they meet experience requirements. Candidates will need to be onsite for orientation and to assist with the opening of a new department. Additional skills required include experience with CBCT, kV/mV imaging, and CT simulation. The patient population includes adults, with a daily census of approximately 145. The candidate should be experienced in various treatment types, including external beam therapy and stereotactic radiosurgery. Modules related to facility-specific procedures must be completed at the start of the assignment. The necessary certifications include ARRT (T) and BLS. Travelers may be expected to float to a sister facility if required.
