Job Summary
Radiation Therapist in a healthcare setting with a specialty in Radiation Therapy. The position involves providing treatment to adult and geriatric patients, with a focus on advanced radiation techniques, including intensity modulated radiotherapy (IMRT), computed tomography (CT) simulation, and equipment such as TrueBeam and Varis-Visions. The role requires adherence to safety protocols and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to deliver quality patient care.
Job Details
- Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week, starting on 10/12/2026 and ending on 01/11/2027.
- Required Qualifications: Certification in Advanced Radiologic Technology (ARRT R*) and Radiation Therapy (ARRT T); minimum of 1 year of experience; valid NM or compact license (must be obtained prior to start); ability to work within a 50-mile local radius (locals not accepted); proficiency in ARIA, billing for treatment types and devices, CBCT/kV/mV imaging, CT simulation, external beam therapy, heterotopic bone, and other listed skills.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Epic charting system, trauma level I or II, and additional experience with interdisciplinary support or complex procedures is advantageous.
- Float: Float to like units within scope may be required, with brief orientation provided, to accommodate facility needs.
- Additional Information: The position involves onboarding hours completed onsite during orientation, with modules recorded via transcripts. Travelers are expected to complete labs within 48 business hours once the contract begins. Previous staff must wait at least 1 year before returning as travelers. All hours are considered in non-billable modules, with 4-6 hours dedicated to nurse modules and 2-3 hours for allied health modules.
