Job Summary:
Radiation Therapist position in an outpatient cancer clinic located in Charlotte, North Carolina. This role involves providing radiation therapy to outpatient ambulatory cancer patients, utilizing advanced equipment and treatment protocols. The position offers an excellent opportunity to work within a diverse and collegial environment, supporting a team of skilled professionals.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with the potential for weekend rotation and on-call duties based on staffing needs.
- Required Qualifications: BLS certification; Radiotherapy Technologist (ARRT-T); proficient in using Varian Truebeam Linear Accelerators; minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; valid driver's license.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with EPIC/ARIA electronic medical records; familiarity with treating various cancer diagnoses; ability to support float to other Radiation Therapy sites in the greater Charlotte area with manager approval.
- Support within the Department: Leadership support available; approximately 12 therapists working per shift.
- Technology/Equipment: Proficient in Varian Truebeam Linear Accelerators and EMR systems (EPIC/ARIA).
- Orientation: Two days of departmental orientation.
- Other notes: Scrub color is black; parking is free; the department is culturally diverse and collegial.
