Key Responsibilities
  • Administer radiation treatments as prescribed by radiation oncologists
  • Position patients accurately for treatment sessions
  • Operate radiation therapy equipment and perform calibration and routine maintenance
  • Monitor patients during treatment for reactions or complications
  • Maintain detailed treatment records and documentation
  • Ensure radiation safety protocols are followed and collaborate with oncologists and other healthcare professionals
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of radiation therapy experience required
  • ASRT certification required
  • Candidates with a permanent address within 35 miles of the facility are considered local travelers and may be subject to an adjusted travel rate
Preferred Experience / Skills
  • Experience working in a high-volume oncology setting
  • Familiarity with a variety of radiation therapy equipment and treatment planning systems
