Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Radiation Therapy Technician for a day shift position in Albuquerque, New Mexico. This role involves providing radiation therapy treatments, ensuring patient safety, and supporting the treatment team. The position is suitable for candidates with at least one year of relevant experience and current ARRT (Therapeutic Radiography) certification.

Job Details:

  • Shift Schedule: Days, 8 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: ARRT (Therapeutic Radiography) certification, 1 year of experience, in addition to any applicable certifications and education requirements listed in the qualifications.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with ARIA, billing for treatment types and devices, CBCT/kV/mV imaging, CT simulation, external beam therapy, IMRT - Intensity Modulated Radiotherapy, tumor localization, and familiarity with Varian Edge and TrueBeam systems.
  • Float: Unless specifically stated otherwise, travelers will be expected to float to like units within their scope as needed based on facility needs. Travelers will receive brief orientation on the unit. Once contract is signed, traveler is expected to go in for labs within 48 business hours (please notify at time of submittal if you/traveler foresee any reasons for compliance delays).
  • Additional Information:
    • This position involves performing procedures related to adult and geriatric patients.
    • The contract requires compliance with travel module recordings and fingerprinting.
    • Pending NM/Compact license acceptance is required prior to start date.
    • Previous staff must wait at least 1 year before returning as a traveler.
    • Locations are within 50 miles but locals are not accepted.
