Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for a Home Health assignment requiring 1+ years of recent experience, HCHB and OASIS proficiency, and license in hand.

Details

• Home Health setting treating geriatric patients
• Caseload of approximately 5-7 patients per day
• Schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with optional weekends
• On-call rotation required every 6th weekend
• Territory covers up to a 60-mile radius from the hub office
• Uses HCHB (Homecare Homebase) for charting

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of recent Home Health experience required
• OASIS experience required for completing Start of Care (SOC) documentation
• Proficiency in HCHB charting system required
• BLS certification required
• License required if applicable
• Active driver's license and personal transportation required
• Timely documentation and communication required

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include timely documentation and consistent communication with the care team
• Monday orientation includes completion of billable training modules
• Dress code is scrubs of any color, no jeans permitted
• iPad provided; personal cell phone use not permitted
• Mileage reimbursed at the IRS standard rate
• First-time travelers will not be considered for this role
• Locals are not accepted for this position
• Travel pairs accepted, though each traveler is assigned their own territory and must have independent transportation
• Former Compassus employees must be separated for at least 6 months and approved by HR before returning as a traveler
• RTO requests must be submitted at the time of application
