Description:
Supports the academic, behavioral, social-emotional, and mental health needs of students through consultation, assessment, intervention, and collaboration with educators, families, and community agencies.
Conducts comprehensive educational evaluations and assists in the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and Section 504 Plans.
Provides data-driven recommendations to support student success.
Collaborates with school teams to implement evidence-based interventions and support multi-tiered systems of support.
Promotes positive learning environments while ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
Knowledge of special education, Section 504, assessment practices, mental health, and multi-tiered systems of support is essential.
Strong assessment, collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills are required.
Ability to work effectively with students, families, staff, and community partners while maintaining confidentiality and professional ethics is necessary.
