Join our team as a Travel Registered Nurse (RN) in the Senior Behavioral Health Unit! We are seeking dedicated professionals for a contract position in Moberly, MO. This role requires a passion for providing exceptional care to patients in a psychiatric setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide behavioral health evaluation of assigned patients and plan, implement, and document nursing care.
• Assist nursing peers and physicians during examinations and procedures.
• Perform various patient tests and administer medications within the scope of practice of the registered nurse.
• Promote patients' independence by establishing care goals and educating patients and families on conditions, medications, and self-care skills.

Requirements:

• 1+ year of experience required.
• BLS certification required.
• De-escalation training (SAMA or CPI) required.
• Previous experience in a gero psych unit required.
• Recent experience in a Senior Behavioral Health setting within an acute care hospital required.

Additional Information:

• 48-hour weekly guarantees are NOT approved.
• Blocked scheduling cannot be accommodated.
• Maximum RTO: 1 week.
• Scrub color: Any solid color.
• Patient ratio: 1:7.
• No call or floating required.
• EMR: MedHost.
• Any CPI certification is acceptable; training with SAMA can be provided during day one orientation.
