We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Psychiatry Registered Nurse (RN) for a contract position in a leading acute-care hospital in Middleton, WI. This role is essential in providing high-quality care to adult and adolescent patients in a 72-bed freestanding psychiatric hospital.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care to patients with psychiatric disorders, ensuring their safety and well-being.
• Respond to codes, de-escalate situations, and apply restraints as needed to maintain patient safety.
• Float to different units as required to support staffing needs.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of current psychiatric hospital experience required.
• Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification preferred; can be completed onsite.
• Comfortable responding to codes, de-escalation, and restraints.
• RN ratio approximately 1:10.
• Navy scrubs required.
• COVID and Flu medical/religious exemptions allowed.
