Job Summary
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) position available in an inpatient setting. This role involves delivering quality nursing care to patients, coordinating treatment plans, and supervising healthcare team members to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes.

Job Details

  • Position Description: The RN will perform nursing assessments within 8 hours of admission, develop individualized care plans, and provide patient education. Responsibilities include participating in multidisciplinary team conferences, documenting patient responses, and initiating discharge planning. The RN will also provide direct patient care using the nursing process, ensuring safety and quality standards are met.
  • Required Qualifications: BLS Certification, ACLS Certification, at least 2 years of bedside clinical experience, valid nursing license, and possession of a degree in Nursing.
  • Schedule: Night shifts, 12-hour shift hours, minimum 48 hours per week.
  • Additional Information: The RN will provide leadership following orientation, delegate appropriately, and participate in team-building activities to foster a positive work environment. They will also pursue ongoing professional development to maintain competence in their role.
