Job Details
- Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 48 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Nursing diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of Nursing; Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC); at least 2 years of recent nursing experience on a PCU unit caring for cardiac patients.
- Additional Information: The successful candidate will participate in patient assessment, education, discharge planning, and performance improvement activities. Demonstrates competence in caring for patients with complex problems, utilizing bedside point of care testing, and collaborating within the healthcare team. The role emphasizes safety, communication, and ongoing professional development.
