  • Position Description: The Registered Nurse (RN) maintains the delivery of quality care by ensuring the nursing care plan is followed. The RN supervises Licensed Practical Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, and orientees. The RN performs nursing assessments on all patients within 8 hours of admission, facilitating individualized care plans while promoting patient education and safety.
  • Required Qualifications: Valid BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, valid ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification, a minimum of 2 years bedside critical care clinical experience, associated with the progression and management of acutely ill patients.
  • Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Additional Information: The RN is responsible for initiating discharge planning from the day of admission, providing patient education, and ensuring effective communication of patient status changes among care team members. They will also participate in team-building activities, contribute to a positive work environment, and pursue ongoing professional development.
