Job Summary
A Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) is needed in a fast-paced hospital setting. The role involves supporting a variety of patient diagnoses, including respiratory failure, sepsis, renal failure, and other medical conditions. The RN will be responsible for patient transport, patient education, and providing clinical care on a floating basis within the facility.

Job Details

  • Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, from 10/19/2026 to 01/16/2027
  • Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale) certification, at least 0 years of experience, and ability to support the PCU scope of practice.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with cardiac monitoring, IV medication titration including Amiodarone, Cardizem, nitro, dopamine, dobutamine, insulin, and heparin.
  • Additional Information: The RN will support within the scope of practice, including patient transport throughout the hospital, assisting with patient care, break relief, and unit support during night shifts. Night shift requires ACLS certification and reliable transport skills.
