Job Summary
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Nurse in Hawaii This position involves providing specialized nursing care within a Progressive Care Unit at a healthcare facility. The role requires the ability to pass an on-site electrocardiogram (EKG) test and hold an active Hawaii nursing license prior to the start date. The assignment is scheduled to begin on September 7, 2026, and conclude on December 7, 2026, with shifting rotations and weekend work as needed.
Job Details
- Certifications and Education: Active Hawaii Registered Nursing (RN) license prior to start date; ability to pass on-site EKG test.
- Schedule: Rotating shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Position Responsibilities: Provide nursing care to patients in the Progressive Care Unit, ensuring all clinical protocols are followed and patient safety is maintained.
- Additional Information: Must be willing to work consecutive weekends as needed. Holiday pay applies only for shifts beginning on the holiday date. This facility is not affiliated with the Hawaii Health Systems Corporation and does not require the same state compliance process.
- Required Qualifications: Active Hawaii RN license, passing the on-site EKG test, 1 year of relevant nursing experience, ability to work rotating shifts, and willingness to work weekends.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a Progressive Care Unit or similar setting.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Submission Requirements: Candidates must be available to start on 09/07/2026 and end on 12/07/2026.
