Description

American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for a Progressive Care Unit role requiring 2+ years of PCU experience and a FL or compact RN license.

Details

• 48-bed Progressive Care Observation Unit
• Patient ratios of 4 to 5:1
• 12-hour night shifts, 3 shifts per week
• EMR: Epic
• Floating required, with travelers prioritized to float and possibly to sister campuses within 15-20 minutes of the facility
• No on-call requirements

Requirements

• Active FL or compact RN license required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of PCU experience required
• Degree accreditation documentation must be included for consideration
• Driver's license address must match address on file with the Board of Nursing

Additional Information

• Galaxy Blue or White scrubs required
• Must reside outside a strict 50-mile radius of the facility to qualify for travel rate, candidates may not own or cosign property within this radius
• Candidates must attest they have no property association within the radius
• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at time of application, as RTO will not be approved after submission
• Orientation begins on a Friday with remote training, in-person attendance required for badge and ID
• Hard document deadline is the Monday prior to start date, with no exceptions for pending documents
• Candidates must be flexible team players and prepared to function as core staff
• Candidates planning to commute from elsewhere in Florida without securing local housing may not be considered a good fit
