Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Progressive Care Unit position requiring at least 1 year of experience and a current MI RN license.

Details

  • Hospital-based Progressive Care Unit (11 East)
  • Oncology patient population, including patients receiving chemotherapy infusions
  • Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
  • 13-week contract assignment

Requirements

  • Active MI RN license required
  • Current BLS certification required
  • Minimum of 1 year of RN experience required
  • Oncology experience preferred
  • Completion of ONS Chemotherapy and Biotherapy course or OCN certification required to administer chemotherapy to actively infusing patients

Additional Information

  • Administer non-vesicant chemotherapy after completing unit-based oncology course and orientation
  • Vesicant chemotherapy administration requires completion of ONS Chemotherapy and Biotherapy course
  • Candidates without ONS course completion or OCN certification will not be assigned to patients actively receiving chemotherapy infusions
  • Local candidates accepted for RNs residing in CA, CT, DE, FL, GA, IA, ID, IL, IN, MD, MA, MI, NC, NE, NY, OH, OR, or PA
