Registered Nurse, Progressive Care Unit. This role supports a cardiac-focused stepdown setting caring for patients requiring progressive care and cardiac monitoring. The position involves 12-hour night shifts and management of complex cardiac conditions, including frequent intravenous medication drips.
Job Details
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the applicable state or district; graduation from an accredited or National League for Nursing-approved Registered Nurse program; two years of Registered Nurse experience; cardiac telemetry experience; Cerner experience; Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
- Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- Additional Information:
- Cardiac-focused progressive care and stepdown patient population.
- Frequent intravenous medication drips may include heparin, milrinone, furosemide, and bumetanide.
- Common diagnoses include congestive heart failure, non-ST-elevation myocardial infarction, arrhythmias, and vascular surgery cases.
- The assignment is scheduled from 11/16/2026 through 02/13/2027.
