Job Summary
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) position located in a healthcare facility. The role involves caring for high-acuity adult patients with cardiac and pulmonary conditions, including vent management. The RN will provide care in a fast-paced environment with a focus on patients requiring intermediate to advanced level care.

Job Details

  • Position: RN Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
  • Location: Baltimore, MD (generalized)
  • Schedule: Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: RN license, 2 years of nursing experience, BLS certification, IMC (Intermediate Medical Care) experience, vent management skills, experience with dysrhythmia management, EPIC electronic medical record proficiency, ACLS certification, 1+ previous travel assignments.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Critical Care Certification, trauma course, orientation scheduled on the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month.

  • Additional Information: Previous employment with any Johns Hopkins health system facility must be noted on the coversheet and within the work history. Candidates who have worked in Johns Hopkins facilities must have been away for at least 1 full year before applying. Float rotation may be required, covering PCU, IMC, and Medical Surgical units.
