Job Details
- Position: PCU Nurse
- Location: Research Medical Center, Kansas City
- Schedule: Nights shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting 11/09/2026 through 02/08/2027
- Required Qualifications: BLS, ACLS, TNCC, NIH certification preferred but not required; 2 years of ICU or PCU experience; burn experience preferred; NIH Certified Hemodynamic Monitoring; hemodynamic drip titration proficiency
- Additional Information:
- Debridement, dressing changes, line insertion, chest tube procedures, post-op care
- Equipment includes Alaris IV pumps, Hill-Rom beds, GE cardiac monitoring
- Must adhere to bedside shift report and unit policies
- Dress code: Navy blue scrub top, navy blue or black scrub pants, scrub jacket
- Float to similar units may be required, with agency staff first to float when needed
- Strong multidisciplinary team including burn surgeon, nurse practitioners, intensivists, and rehab specialists
