Job Details

  • Position Description: The RN maintains the delivery of quality care by following the nursing care plan and supervising Licensed Practical Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, and orientees. Responsibilities include assessing patients within 8 hours of admission, participating in rehabilitation programs, and initiating discharge planning.
  • Certifications, Education, and Experience: BLS Certification required prior to first shift; ACLS required prior to first shift (CIRH only); minimum two years bedside clinical experience; ICU experience.
  • Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Additional Information: Performs nursing assessments, documents patient status promptly and accurately, and participates in team activities to create a positive work environment. Provides direction, training, and supervision of ancillary nursing personnel, and assumes charge responsibility following orientation as requested. Identifies opportunities for professional growth through continuing education and self-study.
