Job Summary:
The facility is seeking a qualified healthcare professional for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in Evansville, Indiana. The role involves providing specialized nursing care to a diverse patient population including medical, cardiac, pre/post cardiovascular surgery, arrhythmia, heart failure, and stroke overflow. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a patient ratio of approximately 1:4-5.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, CPR certification from the American Heart Association, and at least 1 year of relevant nursing experience
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with cardiac or progressive care nursing, certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Additional Information: The role involves caring for a variety of cardiac and medical patients in a 28-bed unit. Candidates should be capable of managing a patient ratio of 1:4-5 and comfortable working night shifts.
