Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit position requiring 2+ years of PCU experience and a KS or compact RN license.

Details

• Progressive Care Unit setting within a hospital campus
• 13-week assignment with night shift hours from 19:00-07:30
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Uses Cerner OneChart EHR system
• Floating to like units on the same or another campus within Wichita may be required

Requirements

• Active KS or compact RN license required
• BLS certification required (AHA)
• Minimum 2 years of PCU nursing experience required
• Current license and primary source verification, including Nursys verification, required within 30 days prior to start
• Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address

Additional Information

• Provide progressive care nursing services to patients requiring close monitoring
• Ceil blue scrubs required
• Candidates should begin discussing potential extensions with their manager 45 days before assignment end date
• A radius rule applies, allowing local candidates at a reduced rate depending on facility location
• Candidates may only submit to one Ascension position system wide
