Job Details

  • Position Description: The Registered Nurse (RN) maintains the delivery of quality care by ensuring the nursing care plan is followed. Responsibilities include supervising Licensed Practical Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, and orientees. The RN performs nursing assessments within 8 hours of admission, contributes to team conferences, and participates in the patient rehabilitation program on an assigned unit.
  • Required Qualifications: Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and minimum of 2 years bedside clinical experience. Education requirements include a valid nursing license and graduation from an approved nursing program. Relevant licensure and experience must be active and current.
  • Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Additional Information: The RN is responsible for initiating discharge planning and patient teaching from the day of admission, ensuring effective communication across care teams, and maintaining safety standards in accordance with hospital policies. The role involves providing calm direction, supervising staff, and contributing positively to team dynamics.
