The RN will supervise licensed practical nurses, certified nursing assistants, and orientees, while fostering a safe and patient-centered environment.
Job Details
- Position Description: The Registered Nurse maintains the delivery of quality care by ensuring the nursing care plan is followed. The RN supervises Licensed Practical Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, and orientees.
- Required Qualifications: Valid BLS (Basic Life Support) certification prior to first shift, valid ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification prior to first shift, at least 2 years of bedside clinical experience, ICU experience, and a valid license in the state of practice.
- Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per day, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Additional Information: Performs a nursing assessment on all patients within 8 hours of admission, develops individualized care plans, collaborates with patients and the interdisciplinary team, documents thoroughly in compliance with policies, and participates in patient rehabilitation and discharge planning. Provides direction, training, and supervision of ancillary nursing personnel, and assumes charge responsibility following orientation. Maintains communication with management about supplies, equipment, and clinical training needs. The RN actively seeks professional growth and participates in team-building activities to promote a positive work environment.
