Job Details
- Position Description: The RN maintains the delivery of quality care by ensuring the nursing care plan is followed, supervising Licensed Practical Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, and orientees, and promoting patient and employee safety with a focus on safe handling, infectious disease precautions, and work environment safety.
- Required Qualifications: Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), a minimum of 2 years bedside clinical experience, current licensure as an RN, and ability to work a night shift schedule of 12 hours per shift with at least 36 hours per week.
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours weekly.
- Additional Information: Performs nursing assessments within 8 hours of patient admission, develops individualized care and discharge plans, collaborates with the interdisciplinary team, and participates in team-building activities to foster a positive work environment. Maintains clear, timely documentation and seeks consultation for complex decisions. Provides direction to ancillary staff, ensures safety standards, and contributes to professional growth through continuing education.
