Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit/IMC position requiring compact RN license and ACLS certification.

Details

• Work in a high-acuity 20-bed Intermediate Medical Care (IMC) unit within a hospital setting
• Care for critically ill patients requiring continuous monitoring with advanced medical equipment such as ventilators and cardiac monitors
• Night shift schedule from 18:45 to 07:15
• 13-week assignment length

Requirements

• Active RN license (Compact) currently in hand
• Current certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
• Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start

• Administer medications, fluids, and treatments accurately according to physician orders
• Recognize and respond promptly to changes in patient condition and emergencies
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop individualized care plans
