Job Summary
The organization is seeking a Critical Care Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Progressive Care Unit (PCU) for a facility located in Saint Louis, MO. The role involves supporting a complex patient population in a 24/7 Stepdown Intensive Care Unit with a focus on positive patient outcomes. The selected candidate will provide care for adult patients, including those with Trachs, vents, and drips, demonstrating clinical proficiency and excellent communication skills.
Job Details
- Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, BLS certification, ACLS certification, EKG interpretation skills, at least 1 year of critical care experience
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Trachs, vents, and drips; previous experience in ICU and Stepdown units
- Float: Float rotation may be required
- Additional Information:
- Support for 24 x 7 operations in the Stepdown ICU
- Orientation on day shift, candidate must be available for the entire week of orientation
- Standard patient ratios for the unit are typically 4-6:1, with equipment provided for nursing procedures
- Casual dress code in black scrubs
