Job Summary:
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) in a healthcare facility environment. The RN will be responsible for providing leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality, compassionate patient care. This role involves utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide, delegate, supervise, and document care and teaching of patients and families. Effective communication of pertinent patient and family information to the healthcare team is essential. The RN will participate in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensure proper implementation of solutions.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: - Graduation from an accredited school of nursing - Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing - BLS certification - Telemetry experience required - Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience - 1 year Cerner experience required - Must have ACLS and BLS certifications
  • Preferred Qualifications: - Bachelors degree in Nursing (BSN)

  • Additional Information: - Float: Float rotation may be required. - Staff may be floated to care for Emergency Department (ED) holds when needed. - RTO (Requested Time Off) for 1 week will be accepted. - OT is billable after 48 hours.
