Job Summary
Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse (RN) in Lewiston, Idaho. This role involves providing high-quality patient care in a Level II Trauma Progressive Care Unit on the 4th floor. The position requires a dedicated healthcare professional committed to delivering safe, patient-centered care with a focus on adult patient populations.
Job Details
- Shift: Nights, 12-hour shift times, Minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); Idaho RN license; 2 years of experience in progressive care or intensive care settings; and ability to perform EKG monitoring, patient assessment, wound care, IV management, and effective communication.
- Preferred Qualifications: 2 years of progressive care or intensive care experience.
- Additional Information: The unit has 11 beds with patient ratios of 4:1, utilizing equipment such as IV pumps, EKG monitors, sequential compression devices, and bladder scanners. The electronic health record system used is Meditech. The unit primarily cares for adult patients with diagnoses including CHF, detox, stroke, NStemi, Stemi, neuro, COPD, diabetes, and sepsis. All candidates must have a positive attitude.
