This position involves providing advanced nursing care for a diverse patient population with various diagnoses, primarily during overnight shifts. The role offers an opportunity to support patient recovery in a family-oriented environment.

Job Details

  • Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale) certifications, at least 1.5 years of PCU RN experience, and active licensure in North Carolina.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with tracheostomy care, cardiac intravenous (IV) therapy, cardiac rhythm interpretation, chest tubes, blood products, wound dressing changes, and management of central lines.
  • Float: Float rotations to regional facilities within scope of practice may be required.
  • Additional Information: Orientation includes 2 days in the department. Night shift involves working every other weekend and potential holiday duties with approximately 75% holiday work. RTO requests of up to 6 days are permitted, excluding holidays. The schedule follows a 6-week cycle.
