Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Progressive Care/Stepdown Unit position requiring a KS or compact license and prior PCU/telemetry experience.

Details

• Work in the Stepdown/Progressive Care Unit (PCU) of a hospital setting
• 13-week assignment on night shift, 19:00-07:30
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Uses Cerner OneChart EHR
• Floating to like units on the same or another campus within Wichita may be required
• Ceil blue scrubs required

Requirements

• Active KS or compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Current BLS certification (AHA) required
• Nursys license verification within 30 days prior to start required
• Current license and primary source verification within 30 days prior to start required
• Full SSN and DOB required for consideration
• Copy of driver's license required for consideration
• Two separate professional references required
• Skills checklist and copies of certifications required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide direct nursing care to stepdown/progressive care patients
• COVID vaccination is not required
• First-time travelers may be considered
• Local candidates accepted at a reduced rate under facility radius rule
• Travelers are encouraged to discuss extension with their manager approximately 45 days before assignment end date
