GLC On-The-Go is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Fort Myers, Florida.
***DECEMBER START*** Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Registered Nurse in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU)/Step Down. This position is located in Fort Myers, FL, and offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic 52-bed Neuro PCU with a patient ratio of 4:1. We are seeking dedicated RNs who are ready to make a difference in patient care.
As a Registered Nurse in the PCU, you will be expected to handle patient ratios of 1:4 to 5 and provide high-quality care to patients with neuro conditions. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with a strong emphasis on neuro experience. Additionally, proficiency with medications such as Cardene and Cleviprex is required, along with the ability to read EKG rhythms.
To qualify, your degree accreditation must be included in your profile, or you must have 5 years of nursing experience. Please be prepared to wear Galaxy Blue or White scrubs.
Important notes for travelers: You may be required to float to both sides of the Neuro Floor, including the stepdown and PCU side. Floating to other sister campuses may also be necessary. All requests for time off (RTO) must be included at the time of submission, as approvals will not be granted after submission. A hard document deadline is set for the Monday prior to your start date, with no exceptions for pending documents.
